Kantar Public reveals German three-tier investment plan

Kantar Public, the group’s government and public practice, has announced a three-pronged investment strategy for its operations in Germany. This includes the launch of a new public data innovation center to support German data science, digital start-ups and micro-businesses.
Established in 2016, Kantar Public provides evidence and advisory services for the delivery of public policy, services and communications. The brand was also launched in Germany in 2016, with roots in Kantar-owned TNS Infratest research group. It now has teams in Berlin and Munich that provide social and policy research expertise to its clients in government, academia and international government agencies; as well as political polls with its majority-owned company Infratest Dimap.
The Public Data Innovation Hub, which will be launched in Germany in July, will provide partnership support to start-ups operating in the data, technology and AI space, with the first partnership with the Berlin-based company of Data Science and Inspirient Analytics. The second part of the investment strategy is to develop Kantar Public Germany’s proprietary research infrastructure to create a new data ecosystem, with investments in infrastructure and technology, including the deployment of the PUBLIC Voice panel on the German market. The third and final area of ââinvestment is in policy advisory capacities in sustainability, evaluation and behavioral science, with new teams focusing exclusively on policy evaluation and behavioral economics in the public sector. in Germany.
