A moderate 4.9 magnitude earthquake has just been reported 49 km southeast of Bucaramanga, Colombia

A 4.9 magnitude earthquake occurred just 13 minutes ago 49 km southeast of Bucaramanga, Colombia, the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) reported.
The earthquake struck at an intermediate to considerable depth of 159 km below the epicenter near Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia, in the early afternoon on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 2:37 p.m. local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter and depth of the quake could be revised in the coming hours or minutes, as seismologists review the data and refine their calculations, or when other agencies release their report.
A second report was then released by the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), which classified it as a 5.1 magnitude earthquake.
