Law360 (July 9, 2021, 2:16 p.m. EDT) – Mergers and acquisitions increased in the first six months of the year compared to 2020, as companies benefit from low interest rates and increased confidence in the economy , thanks to technology and the healthcare sectors leading the pack in terms of transaction volume.

Nearly 16,150 M&A deals totaling nearly $ 3 trillion were signed worldwide in the first half of 2021, according to Dealogic data, including $ 833 billion in recorded technology deals and an additional $ 327 billion in the health care industry.
